| Personal History | Born in the small town of Houma, Louisiana, U.S.A., Alyssa is the offspring of a Shrimper, and a Korean store clerk. (Ask her, and one day she will talk of the way that her father and mother first met and started dating.) Having attended Ellender Memorial High School in her home town, she graduated with such high scores that she was approached by an Academy recruiter, and was able to get in on her second attempt. During winter break of her second year, she returned home. There, a romance was rekindled with her old high school beaux: Jason Boudreaux. They kept in touch throughout her time at the Academy, and were married after her graduation. Though she has been stationed away from her husband many times, the fact that she has two beautiful children is proof of the love shared between the two. |
